What is The End Of You?
THE END OF YOU is a new sensory art experience providing new perspectives on our environment. In this immersive experience, you will explore installations brought to life by dynamic visual projections, meditative spaces for reflection, and learning hubs to re-envision your place in changing our world.The show opens February 7, 2020 at the Gray Area / Grand Theater in San Francisco’s Mission District.
Why approach this topic with art?
As our ecological crisis deepens, art can provide the unique insights necessary to light our path forward. This exhibition is produced by a team of artists to create new visions we need to ensure the future of our planet. Through immersive installations designed to inspire, the experiences will radically shift our relationship with the environment through the power of art.

How long does it take to go through the experience?
The experience is designed to take about an hour, though you are welcome to spend time in the experience as long as you like.
Is the experience ADA friendly?
Yes, we are ADA friendly and compliant.
Who is eligible for Discounted Admission?
We offer discounted tickets for students, teachers, non-profit employees, and seniors. Please bring a valid form of ID with your discounted admission upon check-in at arrival.
Can I book a group tour?
Yes, we offer discounted rates for group tours. For pricing & availability, please contact info@grayarea.org.
Can I exchange my ticket or get a refund?
Our policy does not issue refunds nor do we issue hard tickets. We do facilitate exchanges for different times depending on availability.
Is the exhibition appropriate for all ages?
This experience is made with all audiences in mind. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There are some installations with features that are more about looking or listening than touching, so we ask that adults supervise accordingly.
Who is creating this experience?
With support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Gray Area has been collaborating with Gaian Systems to explore the potential of immersive art for social impact through the Experiential Space Research Lab.
